Dr. Manan Patel is the newest member of the New Jersey Pain. He is a board certified anesthesiology and fellowship trained in interventional pain management having completed his residency and fellowship at two Top 20 US News and World Report Hospitals – Mount Sinai Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia Medical Center.

Dr. Patel also has a very close bond to this area having been born and raised in nearby Piscataway, graduating from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completing his medical internship at Saint Peter’s University Hospital. He believes there is no better duty and joy as a physician than to give back to community he calls home and to the people he considers family.

At the prestigious Columbia University Medical Center where patients come from all over the world to seek expert medical advice, Dr. Patel learned the skills necessary to treat the most challenging pain conditions. In addition to helping patients, Dr. Patel continues to immerse himself in pain management outside the workplace by attending conferences, giving lectures at local pain associations, and taking courses to learn the newest technologies and therapies in pain management.

He believes that his use of the best modern technology, up-to-date knowledge, excellent training/ education, interest in research, and use of a multidisciplinary-holistic approach will allow him to provide you with excellent, personalized care with compassion and honesty.
